Ron Anthe’s professional career over 30 years included: Commercial Sales and Project Management, Safety Training, International Security and ending his career as a Business owner. During his career, Ron was very involved in supporting employees rights and treatment in the workplace. He taught sensitivity awareness classes and Has a philosophy that everyone is important and a human being first before anything else. Ron attended college on a baseball scholarship and was invited to pro tryouts just out of high school. Ron is a proud father of two sons. His youngest son Brad is 23, attends college and is a former world champion jump roper! Ron is a very proud “Papa” of granddaughter “Princess Olivia”. She is one of the main reasons he does what he does today. Ron spends most of his time now working on establishing a scholarship in honor of his oldest son Ryan. The vision is to financially assist families and their child battling substance abuse get the help they need. Ron’s plan is to also work with and support sports camps for kids. Last year he began speaking to various groups sharing Ryan’s story “TURNING THE CORNER”. His talks are educational and deliver several messages that are positive for all audiences. Ron has seen his talks have a positive impact on several young adults and parents because it’s real! He emphasizes that it’s important to share his mistakes and failures to help prevent others from experiencing what he has. Visiting with parents of children fighting substance abuse is a priority for Ron and he is always available to talk or listen. Ron likes to stay active by walking daily but is limited by knee and back injuries. He enjoys summertime (but not the Texas Heat) and being outside at the pool or lake and of course cooking out!! He maintains a sense of humor and likes to make people laugh.
