Are you or a loved one looking for treatment?
Are you interested in finding a center with more amenities?
Most people will want the simple and most affordable route, but for those that can afford it, getting sober in style may be the way to go.
Besides all the luxury, beautiful views, and wonderful meals, some of the difference are having a private room, chores are left to the staff, and of course, the price.
The work needed to reach recovery can be done at the Salvation Army who has helped many people reach recovery, or it can be done in the confines of a beautiful setting with all the amenities. There are many other treatment centers, their price falling somewhere in the middle, that are wonderful places for recovery as well.
Some of which are listed here.
But again, the place doesn’t make the difference. You are either going to do the work and figure out your problems or you’re not. ~ Anthony Kiedis, author of Scar Tissue

Hi, Cathy–
Well done! Thank you for the New Year’s Gifts and for sharing your own struggles. It helps me to put my problems in perspective and to know that I am not alone.
Val
You are not alone, Val. There are many of us who have had similar struggles. My best to you. Be well and thanks for your comment.
There are so many details to consider before deciding upon a rehab facility. Thanks.
You are right, there are so many things to consider before making a decision about rehab and which one to go. Sometimes counselors can be so helpful, as they have a better sense of your situation.
Can’t really afford these luxury rehabs, but good information for those that can.
They are pricy, I’m sure, but there are many others that are wonderful sources of help for those who need it. Thanks for stopping by treatment talk.
There are many other treatment options available as well.
Hi Cathy, Been organizing and planning a Rehab Center for a few years. Plan to take it to the Dominican Republic in the carribbean. A small, private, comfortable place on the beach. 20 people capacity. Though small (2acres), it is a beautiful location: Small peninsula, sits on a low cliff and has 2 small private beaches at the bottom. Can you tell me what is the present demand for treatment (backlogs, waiting lists, etc.)and what percentage of people are willing to travel outside of the states for treatment. It will have all the amenities of your high end rehabs at a more affordable price. Can get more adjacent land later. Thanks, George.
As I don’t have exact numbers on wait lists, etc., I would check with some rehabs in the US and outside. There will be a smaller number of clientele who will pay for a luxury rehab and the flight to and from. Good luck with your endeavor.
Hi Cathy… nice post .. Thanks for the information..
What at a great post this is What is addiction is a great question to ask and a great one to answer.
Hi Lynne,
Thanks for stopping by. As I’m sure you know, one size does not fit all regarding rehab centers. Take care.
